Alexandre Tamisier is a multidimensional creative freelance specialised in the fields of design, simulation and visual arts. He has many years of experience working as a motion designer on projects for some luxury companies and music artists, with a focus on look development, lighting, SOP level procedural setups and simulation.
Walk through the new Flow Solver inside Houdini's COPs context, where simulation concepts like velocity advection, divergence, and pressure solving are used as image-based workflows. This solver becomes a playground for real-time experimentation, allowing to creation, shaping, and manipulating 2D fluids in new ways entirely in COPs, while also using SOPs and DOPs as inputs and outputs for expanded flexibility.
This session will look at how the Flow Solver can be used as a creative tool, providing ways to explore the overlap between simulation and texturing.
